On Monday, October 17th, IMA hosted a blood drive with NJ Blood Services at The Villas in Holmdel. Thanks to the generosity of IMA’s patients, 44 pints of blood were collected. Each unit of blood collected can help save up to three lives.
Blood donations are desperately needed by cancer patients, those with sickle cell anemia, and those with traumatic injuries.
“We appreciate our patients taking the time out of their busy schedules to come out and donate blood. Every day we see the need firsthand and know that this small act of kindness will make an impact on someone’s life,” states IMA President, Dr. Roger Thompson.
