At IMA, we’re looking for candidates for full-time and part-time Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant positions to provide outstanding patient care and perform selective medical services.

We have openings for certified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, with an active New Jersey license and DEA.   • Education: Master’s degree required. Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program required.

  • Licensure/certification/registration: Unrestricted APN license in the State of NJ. Advanced Practice Nurse Certification required. Current DEA registration, BLS, ACLS required. Must be board certified in Family Medicine.

We have an opportunity to join our team as a Medical Assistant. The job duties are the following (but not limited to); enter information into EMR, provide care with excellent customer service. Prepare patient for examination and treatment; take brief patient history, assist with procedures, administer injections as approved, provide patient instructions. Other duties may be assigned depending on shift.


Medical Assistant

Basic qualifications and skills are as follows:

  • Currently certified as a Medical Assistant: Graduate of an accredited school of medical assisting. National Certified Medical Assistant certificate required upon interviewing.
  • We are seeking people who want to learn and grow within the practice of medicine.
  • At least 2 years of medical experience preferred

X-Ray Technician

We have an opportunity for you to join our team as an X-Ray Technician. Our X-Ray Technicians’ primary responsibility is performing radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures for urgent care patients.  Additional duties may include some Medical Assistant duties depending on shift.  Additionally, the qualified candidate must be willing to work some weekends.  This position is in our Urgent Care Centers and offers an opportunity to be mentored by Monmouth County’s premiere physicians and nurse practitioners.

Nurse Educator for Diabetes

We are looking for a part-time Nurse Educator for Diabetes to assist our endocrinologist in diabetes care including teaching diet, lifestyle, testing, and insulin injections. Experience is a plus but we are happy to train. We are seeking an RN, LPN or CDE.

Minimum requirements:

  • RN, LPN nursing license or CDE
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


  • Master’s degree in healthcare-related field
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Experience working with complex medical adult patients
  • Experience working with ADA recognized DSME curriculum/program

Work Schedule:

Hours are on call, set by the educator in our outpatient office in Shrewsbury

Hours Per Week:  12-20

You have an opportunity to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. A Medical Receptionist’s primary responsibilities are greeting patients, checking in patients and making them feel welcome, collecting co-pays/deductibles/co-insurances and answering questions about insurance, checking out patients, scheduling, answering telephone calls, daily close reconciliation, verification, appointment reminders and excellent customer service. The qualified candidate must be willing to work some nights and weekends. We need someone flexible with good availability. We are open until 8 pm on the weekdays and 6 pm on the weekends.

Our front desk receptionist is the first to meet and greet our patients. It is important to positively represent IMA by being patient, compassionate and organized. We are currently looking for receptionists for locations in Shrewsbury, Red Bank and Middletown. Candidates must be familiar with computers and applications including Microsoft Office. Must be able to multi-task, be organized and complete daily tasks in a timely manner.

Required: High school, GED or equivalent
Preferred: Medical secretarial or receptionist certification

Required: Receptionist experience
Preferred: Medical Receptionist experience in occupational health setting; bilingual
