NURSE PRACTITIONERS & PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS
At IMA, we’re looking for full-time Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide outstanding patient care and perform selective medical services.
We have openings for certified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, with an active New Jersey license and DEA. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Master’s degree required. Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program required.

- Licensure/certification/registration: Unrestricted APN license in the State of NJ. Advanced Practice Nurse Certification required. Current DEA registration, BLS, ACLS required. Must be board certified in Family Medicine.

Call Center Representative
Family Practice of Middletown is looking for a Call Center Representative to join our family medical practice. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and positive person who is passionate about patient care to join our team!
The Call Center Representative serves as a key point of contact for the patient care teams while providing excellent customer service to patients and staff. The position offers
The Call Center Representative Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Responsible for high-volume inbound/outbound calls regarding specific patient medical care.
- Provide assistance, service and care to patients by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, helping to resolve problems, assisting patients with insurance, calling and patients with scheduling appointments and appointment reminders, helping patients secure appointments with specialists.
- Assist in patient recalls including entering recall information as directed by the provider, mailing recall postcards and letters.
- Maintain a professional and courteous customer service focus at all times.
- Scanning blood work, medical records, patient forms and other records as needed.
- Attend in-service and training meetings.
- Requires a positive approach, ability to multi-task, flexibility and a keen understanding of policies and procedures.
The Call Center Representative may have the following qualifications and experience:

Our front desk receptionist is the first to meet and greet our patients. It is important to positively represent IMA by being patient, compassionate and organized. We are currently looking for receptionists for primary care locations in Shrewsbury, Red Bank and Middletown. Candidates must be familiar with computers and applications including Microsoft Office. Must be able to multi-task, be organized and complete daily tasks in a timely manner.
EDUCATION
Required: High school, GED or equivalent
Preferred: Medical secretarial or receptionist certification
EXPERIENCE
Required: Receptionist experience
Preferred: Medical Receptionist experience in occupational health setting; bilingual is helpful but not a must.

LICENSED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COUNSELORS
We are looking for full-time or part-time Licensed Behavioral Health Counselors to provide outstanding patient care in our primary care offices in Hazlet, Middletown, Red Bank and Shrewsbury.
POSITION SUMMARY: Support patient well-being by providing mental health assessments and short-term counseling in collaboration with referring primary care physicians within the practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess and evaluate patient mental status and problems
- Design and implement treatment programs plan in collaboration with physicians within the practice
- Maintain patient records
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC);
- Experience in working with adults in the mental health arena. Experience with and substance abuse disorders a plus.
- Ability to provide sound clinical assessments and evaluations as per the DSM-V and published empirical instruments;
- Strong teamwork skills;
- Understanding of New Jersey Mental Health and Substance Abuse standards and guidelines;
- Must be available some evenings –some Saturday mornings would be a plus.
