CHAPEL HILL FAMILY MEDICINE

A. JOHN HADDAD, MD (retired)

Dear Valued Chapel Hill Family Medicine Patients:

I am writing to you today to inform Chapel Hill Family Medicine patients that I retired on June 27th, 2024. I plan on spending more time with my wife, children, and grandchildren.

Over the years, it has been my honor to be your partner in health and I appreciate that you have chosen Chapel Hill Family Medicine to care for you.

I wanted to let you know that in preparation for my retirement, I have personally been interviewing and hiring the provider candidates who I feel best to represent the level of care and values that Dr. Triola and I have instilled into Chapel Hill Family Medicine over the years.

About a year ago, I personally hired both a Physician Assistant, Melanie, and a Nurse Practitioner, Anne. Both Melanie and Anne have brought great experience to Chapel Hill Family Medicine and have practiced alongside me during this year.  I can assure you that both Melanie and Anne are exceptional providers and will provide you with the same level of care you are accustomed to

Additionally, Chapel Hill Family Medicine has been actively searching for the right physician to join the practice. After interviewing many candidates, I am happy to announce that we have hired Dr. Anjali Sawhney to join Chapel Hill Family Medicine. I personally have met with Dr. Sawhney several times and believe that she is the best candidate to join our practice. Dr. Sawhney is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is currently completing a fellowship in Behavioral Health. She will be joining Chapel Hill Family Medicine beginning August 17th, 2024.

It has been my honor to care for you over the years and I know that I am leaving Chapel Hill Medicine patients in good hands with the team I have personally chosen.

I wish you good health and happiness,

Dr. Haddad
