ZIAD ABBUD, MD

Dr. Abbud received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He completed his internal medicine internship at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Md., and his internal medicine residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. He then completed a fellowship in critical care medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he served as the chief cardiology fellow, and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Abbud is the Co-chair for the cardiovascular research program at the Meridian Health System Cardiovascular Steering Committee. He is a principal investigator in multiple clinical trials, and has published multiple papers in well-respected medical journals over the years.
