FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – November 20, 2023 – For the sixth year in a row, IMA Urgent Care and Primary Care partnered with local non-profit, Middletown Helps Its Own to bring Thanksgiving dinner to local families in need.
This year, the all-volunteer organization delivered over 350 Thanksgiving food boxes to local Middletown families in need. Food boxes are delivered by Middletown locals including Middletown fire and EMS departments the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
“The need is real, and we appreciate our patients taking the time to donate Thanksgiving food items to help our neighbors have a happy Thanksgiving,” states IMA President, Dr. Roger Thompson. “It’s truly amazing to watch our Middletown neighbors take the time to donate and help others.”
