IMA Urgent Care & Primary Care hosted their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit Middletown Helps Its Own and Fulfill Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Through the generosity of IMA’s patients, over 1000 pounds of food was dropped off to both charities who will distribute Thanksgiving dinners to those in need.
Since 1964, Middletown Helps Its Own has been providing assistance to Middletown families and is 100% volunteer driven. Fulfills mission is to alleviate hunger in Monmouth County and Ocean County.
“We are grateful to our patients for their generosity this year. There are so many individuals and families in need that these food donations will help out local families,” states Dr. Roger Thompson, President of IMA.
On Saturday, November 20th, volunteers from Middletown Helps Its Own dropped off Thanksgiving food boxes to local Middletown families. Fulfill will be hosting either in-person or take out Thanksgiving meals at local Monmouth and Ocean County churches and community centers.
