Regina Opare-Sem, APN

Regina graduated from Kean University, Union NJ with MSN in 2015 and a Post Graduate AGNP from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Regina is a Board-Certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.

Regina started out in nursing as a Home Health Aide, then as a Homecare Nurse with Bayada Nurses. From there, Regina worked at HMH – Riverview Medical Center as an RN in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry/Stroke Unit. Regina was also a nurse preceptor and an adjunct instructor at Brookdale Community College where she taught and tested students’ nursing skills in the skills lab. Regina has also been involved in nursing research and worked on projects to improve patient medication education and enhance health literacy.

Regina lives in Monmouth County with her husband. Regina has two adult sons and enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Working with IMA Geriatrics brings my interests and acquired skills together to serve our communities well, and I am grateful to be working with a great team of professionals.
