FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Middletown, NJ – IMA Urgent Care & Primary Care is hosting our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit both Middletown Helps Its Own and Lunch Break. Food collection will be held during office hours and will run through Thursday, November 21st.
“This is the 7th year that IMA is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive,” states IMA President and Family Practice of Middletown physician, Dr. Roger Thompson. “Combined, Middletown Helps Its Own and Lunch Break help provide Thanksgiving dinner to over 500 Monmouth County Families.”
About Middletown Helps Its Own
Now in its 40th year, Middletown Helps Its Own provides food and emergency assistance to Middletown residents in need. Middletown Helps Its Own is an all-volunteer not-for-profit that coordinates and distributes over 600 Thanksgiving and Holiday baskets to Middletown residents.
About Lunch Break
For 41 years, Lunch Break has been committed to providing programs to encompass feeding, clothing, outreach, mentoring, and social services.
Both IMA Primary Care and Urgent Care offices will serve as collection sites and will be collecting non-perishable Thanksgiving food items such as:
• Stuffing
• Muffin Mix
• Canned Vegetables
• Boxed Mashed Potatoes
• Cake Mix
• Frosting
• Canned Cranberry
• Canned Gravy
