IMA Urgent Care & Primary Care Collect Hosts Successful Bottled Water & Granola Bar Drive for First Responders

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – June 25th, 2024 – IMA Urgent Care & Primary Care hosted their 6th annual bottled water drive to benefit first responders.  This year, the locally owned physician practice group collected over 500 cases of bottled water.  In addition to bottled water, this year, IMA collected granola bars that will be used by first responders to stay fueled during an emergency.

“With temperatures soaring this summer, our bottled water drive is helping our local first responders stay hydrated during an emergency.  We are always grateful that our patients are so supportive of this drive.  It is such a simple way to help our local volunteer fire departments and first aid squads,” states IMA Urgent Care & Primary Care and Family Practice of Middletown Physician, Dr. Roger Thompson.

The annual drive has turned into a community event where Monmouth County residents and local businesses drop off water and granola bars to IMA’s 8 primary care practices and 2 urgent care centers.   Local first responders are seeing a surge in emergency calls and the water and granola bars help them stay hydrated and fueled during an emergency.
